Richard, O Worship the King piano book is wonderful. I sat down this morning and played through about half of it. With each of your collections I think, "This is my favorite; It can't get any better than this". I feel the same way about this one! Every piece that I played was gorgeous and so worshipful. Thank you for giving us something that we can play without hours of practice but yet be so expressive and so beautiful. Perfect for offertories and communion pieces. It is so hard to find arrangements like these today. You are the best!

Richard Kingsmore is an amazing composer! I think I have every piano song he has written and get excited every time I hear that he has a new arrangement available. I am our church pianist and play his music for offertories each week. I get compliments every time I play but that is not why I do it. His arrangements create such a worshipful experience and it inspires feeling and emotion. I feel that music should be all about emotion and telling a story. The story comes alive when performed and that is what happens when I play each of Richard's compositions. I love his new updated versions of the old traditional hymns that I grew up with and loved as a child. I thought my favorites were How Great Thou Art, Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing, It is Well with my Soul and Be Thou My Vision but then when the Easter Songs came out, I found that I love When I Survey the Wondrous Cross and Were You There just as much. Then his versions of some of the new Praise Songs came out and I love them as well. (10,000 Reasons and Good Good Father) I cannot pick a favorite because I love them all. Thank you so much, Richard, for being an inspiration and creating such beautiful music!

I’ve been privileged to develop music resources for the church for almost 30 years and have worked with so many talented, dedicated, creators of vocal and instrumental music. Everyone in the industry recognizes that Richie’s (Richard’s - you choose) work is always top shelf, in whatever format he writes. But if I had to say, it’s his piano stylings that are my favorite. I’m a player myself, and I admit it: I’m guilty of asking him to arrange a particular title because I want a great arrangement to play. His own piano recordings are always on my playlist. They take me to a place of devotion and gratefulness. The word that comes to mind is ”current.” Even when dealing with music that has been a part of the church for decade upon decade, Richie presents it in a fresh setting: understated, thoughtful...much like Richie himself. I really like this guy...and his music.

I have all of Richard's collections and can not name a favorite. All of his arrangements are beautiful and so full of expression. They do not require a great deal of practice and when you play them for Worship Services, not only can your congregation hear the words and worship, but you can as well. I am a church pianist and piano teacher as well and find that these arrangements are wonderful for students who are looking for that very special piece to play for church or a recital. I am appreciative of the fact that he is keeping the traditional hymns of the faith alive but with a few interesting chords and rhythms that make them fresh and anew today.

I love this book (Then Sings My Soul). Every time I play one of these arrangements, people tell me how worshipful the music is. I like that they sound beautiful and complex, while really not requiring lots of time to have one ready. One of my favorite piano books!

I love playing your solo piano arrangements! I am hoping you will release a solo piano book for Christmas. I use your arrangements for church and when I am performing in a public venue. Your arrangements are always interesting and sound more difficult than they are. That is always a plus for a pianist. Thank you so much for what you do.

I purchased this book (Then Sings My Soul) after enjoying several piano solos arranged by Richard Kingsmore. This is a nice collection of arrangements - just what I was looking for as an alternative to traditional church preludes. Would love to see more piano collections by Kingsmore.

I went to a piano music reading session led by Mark Hayes, and this book (Then Sings My Soul) was one of the many fine books that were featured. The arrangements are indeed intermediate, assuming one has a good sense of rhythm, but they are thoughtful, reflective, and beautiful in my humble opinion. And my United Methodist congregation likes them just fine.
